What products are safe for pregnant clients?
We recommend that pregnant clients check with their healthcare provider for any product contraindications that may be unique to them. It is generally recommended that stimulating products should be avoided, as women may find that their skin is more sensitive during pregnancy.

RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
We want you to love your products, and we are quite certain you will.
For missing packages marked delivered to the address on the order, we require a minimum of 2 business days to file a claim with the carrier before sending a replacement.
Due to Covid-19 we are not currently unable to refund or exchange items for sanitary reasons. In the event your item is damaged and/or incorrect we will be more than happy to replace it.
We are unable to assist with items that arrived broken, missing items, and missing packages outside of the 10 day return/exchange policy time frame and without a photo of the broken items and/or package.
If your order came with broken or missing items, please contact Customer Care as soon as possible after receiving your delivery.
For damaged or defective products, it would be especially helpful to see a photo of the issue. This helps us process your return faster and improve our quality control. We’d really appreciate it!
To return an item purchased online, please contact Customer Care to initiate your return at itsbytati@aol.com or (800) 000 -8418 before you send in a return or exchange. Please provide or have ready your original order information.
Packages returned to us refused or undeliverable will be refunded in full less the shipping and handling fees.

Refunds are typically processed within 3 to 4 days of receipt of the returned product.
We do not provide prepaid return labels or cover return shipping fees.
We are not responsible for returns lost in transit that have not been communicated to Customer Care.

All orders are shipped USPS. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Contact your local post office to what your options are.

When will I receive my package?
All orders are shipped according to the product purchased and our current processing time. For example, if you ordered custom loc extensions (which are not from our in-stock menu) your locs will be shipped no later than the 4th week of our processing time; if we are running late with orders, you will be contacted in advance.

If I select priority mail or priority express will that expedite the processing time of my order?
No. We ship all orders according to the current processing times. The shipping method selected at checkout only applies when the package has been shipped. For example, if you select priority express, the package should arrive one business day after your order was shipped (not ordered).

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, but to select countries. *Please expect extended shipping delays due to holiday seasons, and covid19 related changes affecting international and domestic borders. * Please note that estimated shipping times are subject to change and dependent on the carrier services (USPS/DHL/UPS). How do I check the status of my package?
Please review your product page for current processing times. Once your package is shipped, we will update your order status with tracking information via the email address, or cell phone number you provided at checkout.

I received a notification that my package was delivered but I don't see it. What should I do?
In most cases your package was delivered to your mailbox or leasing office. Please check those areas first. If there was a delivery attempt (meaning no one was home for a required signature), this will be indicated on the USPS website. In all cases, once you provide your local post office with the tracking number, they should be able to locate your package. *Please note that Its By Tati LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. *

Are the soaps Cold Pressed?
No. At this time we are creating homemade custom Melt & Pour Soaps. We will be offering Cold Pressed Soaps very soon. Melt & Pour Soaps have the same great benefits as CP soaps. Powder additives, natural oils, and herbs are infused in MP soaps, which give the same benefits.

How long will it take to process my order of loc extensions?

How many packs of Afro kinky human hair do I need to make my loc extensions?
It depends on the quantity, length, and size of your preferred extensions. We normally sell locks in bundles of 20 locs pre bundle for human hair and synthetic extensions. 4-5 individual packs to complete one full install of loc extensions. Some ore sold in 3 bundle deals, please reach out by email us at itsbytati@aol.com for custom Locs or more information.

How long should I wait before shampooing my locs and what products should I use?
We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks after installation before shampooing your hair. Clarifying shampoos are recommended for cleansing your locs and scalp, followed by a moisturizing shampoo. Please wait until your natural hair shows signs of budding before using a lightweight, water-based, or diluted conditioner. Thick and creamy products are not recommended because they tend to cause build-up over time.

How often should I shampoo my hair, and which products should I use? You can shampoo your hair as often as needed. If 100% human hair locs were purchased. If Synthetic Locs or human blended Locs were purchased, we recommend only washing scalp. To wash Locs remove them to do a soak wash, and dipping wash. examples @itssbytati.
We recommend using the braiding or banding method for micro locs with braids, twists, or interlocks; this will help to reduce slippage.
Our Hydrating Rosemary Water is great for moisturizing locs, decreasing stiffness (which happens when locs are dry), and provides a soft, earthy scent that really helps to freshen up your locs. Our Soothing Hair Growth Oil helps to stimulate hair follicles resulting in increased hair growth. It also helps to seal in moisture and decrease dandruff and itching. For best results we recommend shampooing your hair every 2-3 weeks and applying our Hydrating Rosemary Water coupled with the Soothing Hair Growth Oil about 1-2 times per week. How long will it take for my locs to mature?
Everyone's hair is different, so this time period varies. Locking your hair is the first part of the journey. Give your locs time to go through the various stages. Your patience will be rewarded!

Will I be able to style my loc extensions? Yes.
It is important to note that loc extensions and natural locs can develop soft spots if there is frequent use of rubber bands, ponytail holders, braids, twists, bleach, volume developer, and box color. The best way to protect your investment is by treating your locs with care. 1- Allow for periods of rest in between styles where the locs can be free with low manipulation. 2- Create small bantu knots at the ends of your braided or twisted loc styles, before applying rubber bands to decrease the tension on a smaller surface area. 3- Use an elastic headband for ponytails; these are longer, thicker and wider than traditional ponytail holders, which helps to gather all the locs without pulling them too tightly. Another trick for ponytail styles, is to gather everything except the perimeter of your locs with an elastic headband. Then gather the perimeter locs around the ponytail and secure them in place. This helps to prevent pulling on your edges. 4- Use of satin pillowcases, satin bonnets, or silk scarves will help to keep your hair neat, protected, and lint free.

What should I consider before attempting to bleach or dye my locs?
First make sure you have purchased 100% human hair locs since all our locs are not made with human hair.If you plan to color your locs without using bleach, we recommend ordering our lighter shades of blonde and brown (#613, #27, and #30). We strongly recommend seeing a licensed loctician/cosmetologist for ALL color/chemical services. Bleach, volume developer, and hair dye can weaken the locs over time, especially for sizes micro, extra small, and small. Use with caution! We are not liable for any adverse outcomes resulting from services rendered.

Can I remove my loc extensions?
Yes. Our 100% human hair Loc extensions are created and installed for long-term wear. If you plan to take them down the process is very similar to removing natural locs. You can either trim the extensions over time, or cut them at the attachment site and pick out your natural locs.
If you have installed locs with the crotchet method, with proper care all blended and synthetic Locs are reusable. Seek professional help to not cut your natural hair. Examples of takedown @itssbytati
